i feel like a whole chapter of my book of poetry should be dedicated to coffee. it just always finds a way to be associated into my writing.

between classes i come home and make coffee.
while the coffee is brewing, i eat yogurt.
the yogurt always finishes right when the coffee is done

today i saw that the soccer ball had flown out the schoolyard on my walk home and i was gonna go get it but then seven hundred cars ran over it. the walls of the schoolyard were brick so not only could the kids not see that their ball was half a block away but they were yelling and asking someone to grab the ball for them and toss it back over. i was across the street, and finally the light turned...
